Despite a lackluster group of launch titles, rabid Sony fans quickly jumped at the opportunity to purchase gaming’s latest achievement, hoping the console’s bright future and peppering of upcoming titles wouldn’t let them down. Now, nearly 18 months after its debut, the system is just starting to showcase its true potential as the preeminent entertainment solution in households across the globe. Each one has been better than the last in some way, with the exception being the original PS3 which included backwards compatibility (and it’s why I still own it alongside a Super Slim). So with the launch of the PS4 I decided to wait for a hardware revision, and now I am very glad I did. As we reported last month, Sony rolled out two new versions of the PS4 console. The first was a 1TB Ultimate Player Edition in the…

Xbox One console only for sale

It s such a pain jumping on the bandwagon of a brand-new video game console. It s not that it s not fun — playing next-generation games with superior quality is awesome. It s that doggone price. When new video game consoles first hit the market, they re always in the multiple hundreds of dollars. Granted, that s considerably less than it costs to buy a new computer – or heck, even a new smartphone that s just hit the market – but it s no small amount of pocket change. It s made all the more frustrating by knowing that a year or two down the road, that price will drop by a hundred…
